It’s hard to believe that with temperatures hitting the 80’s this week, that just last week, Bergen County NJ was hard hit by this Nor’easter, and many residents are still recovering. 

 I am sure you have read many of the articles in the Bergen Record regarding the hardest hit areas, and how Bergen County residents have been affected by this storm. 

One particular resident in Hillsdale had water pouring into his newly finished basement.  He just couldn’t stop the water!  It just kept pouring in!  He was overwhelmed, and knew that he, and his family couldn’t do this alone.  He put an alert out to all of his friends, and neighbors via the Internet.  Within hours 20 people came to the rescue.  Our Coldwell Banker office in Hillsdale NJ sent out an e mail asking for help, and over 30 residents in The Pascack Valley area came to the rescue  to help this family.  It’s a good feeling, and is so comforting to know that when in need, your fellow neighbors will come through.
